Με τη συμμετοχή της φιλοζωικής ομάδας “Ζωφόρος” και την υποστήριξη του Δήμου Βιάννου
Με πρωτοβουλία του Αντιδημάρχου Βιάννου, κ. Θεόδωρου Καρτσάκη, πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Πνευματικό Κέντρο Άνω Βιάννου «Περικλής Βλαχάκης» εκδήλωση ενημέρωσης και ευαισθητοποίησης των πολιτών για τη ζωοφιλία και τη διαχείριση των αδέσποτων ζώων.
Στην εκδήλωση μίλησαν μέλη της φιλοζωικής οργάνωσης “Ζωφόρος”, η οποία εκπροσωπεί και την Πανελλαδική Φιλοζωική και Περιβαλλοντική Ομοσπονδία (ΠΦΠΟ). Κατά τη διάρκεια της δράσης, έγινε αναφορά σε καίρια ζητήματα, όπως η υπεύθυνη στάση απέναντι στα ζώα, η στείρωση, η υιοθεσία και η πρόληψη της κακοποίησης.
Παρά την αξιόλογη προσπάθεια των διοργανωτών, η συμμετοχή των κατοίκων ήταν περιορισμένη. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η παρουσίαση πραγματοποιήθηκε από εθελοντές και εθελόντριες με έντονη φιλοζωική δράση, οι οποίοι αφιέρωσαν το πρωινό της Κυριακής τους για τη συγκεκριμένη ενημέρωση, πέρα από τον καθημερινό τους αγώνα για τα ζώα.
Τα μέλη της “Ζωφόρου” τόνισαν τη σημασία της ενημέρωσης ως βασικό εργαλείο για τη διαμόρφωση φιλοζωικής συνείδησης και δήλωσαν πρόθυμοι να συνεχίσουν αντίστοιχες παρεμβάσεις στο μέλλον, με την προσδοκία μεγαλύτερης ανταπόκρισης από την τοπική κοινωνία.
Στην παρουσίαση συμμετείχαν τα φιλικά σκυλάκια Τζωρτζίνα και Τιτίκα, ενώ απουσίαζαν λόγω ασθένειας οι εθελόντριες Φαίη Παναγιωτίδη και Εύα Ρεϊζόγλου.
Awareness Event on Animal Welfare in Ano Viannos
Organized with the support of the Municipality of Viannos and the animal welfare group “Zophoros”
An informative event on animal welfare and the management of stray animals was held at the “Periklis Vlachakis” Cultural Center in Ano Viannos, following an initiative by the Deputy Mayor of Viannos, Mr. Theodoros Kartsakis.
The event featured speakers from the animal welfare group Zophoros, which also represents the Panhellenic Animal Welfare and Environmental Federation (PFPO). During the presentation, key topics were addressed such as responsible pet ownership, spaying/neutering, adoption, and the prevention of abuse.
Despite the commendable efforts of the organizers, public participation was limited. It is worth noting that the presentation was conducted by volunteers with long-standing involvement in animal advocacy, who generously devoted their Sunday morning to carry out this action, in addition to their ongoing efforts for animal protection.
The representatives of Zophoros emphasized the vital role of education in shaping a culture of compassion toward animals and expressed their willingness to continue similar initiatives in the future, hoping for greater public engagement.
The event was also attended by the friendly dogs Georgina and Titika, while volunteers Fay Panayiotidi and Eva Reizoglou were unable to attend due to illness.
Informationsveranstaltung zum Tierschutz in Ano Viannos
Mit Unterstützung der Gemeinde Viannos und der Tierschutzorganisation „Zophoros“
Auf Initiative des stellvertretenden Bürgermeisters von Viannos, Herrn Theodoros Kartsakis, fand im Kulturzentrum „Periklis Vlachakis“ in Ano Viannos eine Informations- und Sensibilisierungsveranstaltung zum Thema Tierschutz und Umgang mit streunenden Tieren statt.
Bei der Veranstaltung sprachen Mitglieder der Tierschutzorganisation Zophoros, die auch die Panhellenische Tierschutz- und Umweltföderation (PFPO) vertritt. Es wurden zentrale Themen angesprochen, darunter verantwortungsbewusster Umgang mit Tieren, Kastration, Adoption sowie der Schutz vor Misshandlung.
Trotz des Engagements der Veranstalter war die Beteiligung der Bevölkerung gering. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass die Präsentation von engagierten Freiwilligen durchgeführt wurde, die nicht nur regelmäßig Zeit für den Tierschutz investieren, sondern auch ihren Sonntagmorgen dieser Aktion widmeten.
Die Vertreter*innen von Zophoros betonten die Bedeutung von Aufklärung als Schlüssel zur Entwicklung eines mitfühlenden Umgangs mit Tieren und zeigten sich bereit, ähnliche Aktionen in Zukunft fortzusetzen – in der Hoffnung auf stärkere Resonanz aus der lokalen Gemeinschaft.
Anwesend bei der Veranstaltung waren auch die freundlichen Hündinnen Georgina und Titika. Die freiwilligen Helferinnen Fay Panayiotidi und Eva Reizoglou konnten krankheitsbedingt nicht teilnehmen.
